Spaghetti with prawns in a creamy tomato sauce

Main meal

500 gr cooked prawns
600 gr chopped tomatoes or cherry tomatoes halved
1 onion
500 gr spaghetti or tagliateli
1/2 green pepper
1/2 red pepper
1 chilli, deseeded and chopped
100 ml double cream
Olive oil, salt and pepper
A handful of frech basil leaves chopped

  • Fry the tomatoes, onion, peppers, garlic and chilli in the olive oil, add S & P and cook till soft

  • Meanwhile, boil the pasta

  • Add the prawns to the sauce and stir in the cream and basil, warm through gently for a couple of minutes

  • Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce

  • Serve inmediately
