Lamb in garlic sauce

Main meal

Lamb in pieces
Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon
Garlic 4 cloves
Dried Red pepper 1
Dry old bread (1 french stick)
Small tomatoes 4-5 (skinned & chopped)
Salt & pepper

  • Fry the lamb and cook well. When cooked, drain off some oil

  • Meanwhile, crush the cumin seeds in a pestle & mortar. Then, crush the garlic working it into a paste with the cumin

  • Soak the bread in a little water, drain and sqeeze out the water. Put in a blender goblet and blend with the pepper, which has previously been gently fried

  • Once blended, mix with the garlic-cumin paste

  • In a clean frying pan, fry the paste, quickly adding the chopped tomatoes. Fry a little

  • Pour the sauce onto the lamb & cook it all together for 1/4-1/2 hour
